All things considered, the issues of the game are incredibly minor in comparison what it does well. The game is spot on with recreating the Warhammer 40k IP with it’s great environments, and ridiculous gameplay pace and the sheer amount of violence you can apply. That on its own is commendable and is a solid reason to play the game yourself. It has some missed potential but it really doesn’t hold the game back. The gameplay makes it completely worth it. Dumb shooting fun is what the marketing implies and it’s what you get. There are no great subversions in terms of gameplay or narrative but that’s really not what this genre of gameplay is about. Warhammer 40.000: Boltgun is a great deal of fun with a minimum of 7 hours of gameplay for a good price and I’d recommend anyone with some interest in shooter games to gives this one a try too.
Flower Review
Released in 2009 for the Playstation, I recently got around to playing and finishing Flower. At this point in time the game is fairly cheap and is regularly out on sale. For this reason and as it’s a piece of “videogames as art” history I would recommend people playing it.
Evil West – Review
I completed the singleplayer campaign of Evil West and I can quite confidently recommend it to anyone interested in Beat ‘m Up games.

Review – Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II
Following Dawn of War I is its somewhat similar sequel, Dawn of War II. Dawn of War II has taken quite a turn from the original by virtually removing the base building component in both the singleplayer and multiplayer components of the game. Unit sizes have been diminished with each unit having a greater combat … Continue reading Review – Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II
Iron Harvest – Review
I recently finished the base-building strategy game; Iron Harvest. The overall quality of the game is quite moderate so it's hard to recommend. I'd recommend it to fans of Company of Heroes and those who can find enjoyment in Iron Harvest's dieselpunk setting.
Half-Life: Opposing Force Review
I recently completed the Half-Life standalone; Half-Life: Opposing Force. Despite some minor issues and the age of the game I can still recommend it for anyone with interest for a new solid Half-life and or first-person shooter experience for a very low price.
Half-Life: Black Mesa Review
A while ago I complete Half-Life: Black Mesa, a standalone remaster of Half-Life 1. I can definitely recommend the game to anyone interested in the Half-Life series and first-person shooters in general. And at around eighteen euros the game offers great value for its cost.
Helltaker Review
